Restoring Form and Function
There are many reasons patients need to consider dental implants and when that time comes – we are there for you! Our office focuses on providing same day teeth whenever possible. Immediate implant placement and immediate loading of either a single implant to a whole arch is our goal to provide the fastest time to teeth.
RESTORE YOUR SMILE WITH DENTAL IMPLANTS
Dental implants are a proven restorative treatment with long term success rates above 98%. The process involves the placement of titanium posts in the jaw to support implant restorations such as crowns, bridges, permanent full arch restorations, or dentures. Our patients are able to relax through the procedure with IV Sedation. Dr. Clark Damon and Dr. Kari Blankenship are passionate about implant dentistry and take pride in their care, which focuses on using advanced techniques and providing patients with a comfortable, stress-free experience. Dental implants are the most-recommended procedure at our Dallas, Amarillo, and Fort Worth, TX, offices to restore missing or failing teeth versus the standard “3 unit Dental Bridge”. They offer greater benefits for your health than any other option. Dr Damon commonly tells patients “why have a one tooth problem turn into a 3 tooth problem” as would be the case with the traditional bridge. Using only the best, Texas Dental Center is an exclusive provider of Nobel Biocare brand implants. They, along with Dr. Palo Malo invented the teeth in a day concept. Their implants (Nobel Active) have made same day implant placement and same day teeth a possibility. This means that if you are needing one tooth replaced or a full arch – gone are the days of waiting 6-8 months for your tooth or with multiple dental visits. It is only a matter of hours.
When are Dental Implants Needed?

- Fractured Tooth

- To support a Full Arch Restoration

What are Dental Implants?
Dental implants are titanium posts that resemble screws. They are inserted into the jawbone to replace the root structure of a missing tooth. In doing so, they replace the missing root to help guard against the bone degeneration that occurs after tooth loss. While a single implant can replace a missing tooth, as few as four to six implants can replace an entire arch of missing teeth.
Dr. Damon takes pride in implant treatment, which focuses on using advanced techniques and providing patients with a comfortable, stress-free experience.
Implant in premolar area
We had to extract a tooth due to a failed root canal. Patient wanted a natural solution. Here, we placed a Nobel active implant, zirconia abutment, and an eMax implant crown. We achieved natural results.
What Restorations Can They Support?
Dr. Damon can combine dental implants with a wide range of restorations to meet his individual patients’ needs:
- Dental crowns to replace one missing tooth on a Single Tooth implant
- Dental bridges to replace multiple missing teeth in a row
- Fixed or removable dentures to replace a full arch of missing teeth such as snap on dentures.
- All-on-4® dentures use just four, 5 or 6 implants, placed immediately when teeth are removed and immediately placing a fixed temporary.
How are Implants Placed?
The first step in the dental implant process is the consultation. At this time, Dr. Damon and Dr. Blankenship will evaluate your dental, periodontal, and bone health. Some patients lack adequate bone tissue. If this is the case, he will discuss the need for a preparatory procedure, such as bone grafting or a sinus lift, to improve your candidacy for dental implants. On the day of the procedure, we will administer IV sedation, followed by a local anesthetic. Then, Dr. Damon will create incisions in the gums. He will carefully drill pilot holes into the jawbone, insert the implants into those holes, and close the incisions.
Why Should I Consider Dental Implants with Texas Dental Center?
The biggest advantage of dental implants treatment is that he can complete the entire process at our office. With other practices, a patient may need to see two or more different specialists. Dr. Damon and Dr. Blankenship are able to perform all stages of the placement process in one location to make the process more convenient for our patients.
We also offer the most advanced technology and materials available for our patients. We uses a 3-D cone beam scanner to create more precise treatment plans and Texas Dental Center also uses Nobel Biocare implants, which are one of the top brands for dental implants.
To ensure patient comfort throughout the entire process, we offer sedation options, including IV or ‘laughing gas.’

Benefits of Dental Implants
Dental implants are a proven restorative treatment option with multiple benefits that include a comfortable bite, realistic and natural esthetics, improved speech, and greater longevity than traditional restorations. Dr. Clark Damon is a renowned dental implant expert, who uses the most advanced techniques and leading-edge materials, such as Nobel Biocare implants, and focusing on Teeth in a Day protocols for single teeth – entire arches.
Single Tooth Implant
Every tooth plays a role in allowing proper chewing and speaking, as well as maintaining the jaw structure. Losing even just one tooth can affect the health of the whole mouth. Drs. Clark Damon and Kari Blankenship can conveniently provide the placement and restoration of a single tooth implant all under one roof at our Dallas, Amarillo, or Fort Worth, TX, office.
Bone grafting is sometimes a necessary procedure to build up deteriorated jaw bone tissue in order to create sufficient support for dental implants. Dr. Clark Damon can perform different bone grafting techniques at our Dallas, Amarillo, and Fort Worth, TX, offices based on the patient’s needs and preferences. He also uses platelet-rich plasma (PRP) for enhanced healing. Bone grafts are primarily needed in patients who have been missing teeth for several months or more. However, Dr. Damon may also perform a bone graft at the time of extraction in order to guard against the effects of tooth loss.
All on 4
When you lose a tooth, the roots no longer provide stimulation to the surrounding bone. This can lead to further tooth loss and jawbone degeneration. Dental implants can stop this process and preserve your overall oral health. The treatment option also improves the structural integrity of your smile by providing the most secure foundation for a natural-looking restoration.
